I attended a three month residency at the Dream Community in Taipei, with Ben Burke, Nina Nichols, Tony Bones and Randall Bailey to design and fabricate a parade float based on New Orleans-style Mardi Gras floats and Louisiana culture, but given our own fanciful twist.

I also taught costume making to 130 architecture students so that they could participate in the parade. We designed the costumes around New Orleans parade participants and Gulf South flora and fauna. I ran costume-making workshops with community members so that they could also march in the Dream Parade.
